Palmetto Bay, FL, August 1, 2016 – Howard Drive Elementary, located on corners of S.W. 136th Street and 77th Avenue, has its sights set on fun for 2016.
The school recently announced that its annual Fun Fair carnival will take place on November 5th, 2016. “We are looking forward to all of the creativity and hosting the community at our event, which funds so many of our valuable programs,” said PTA President Nicole Connolly.
The event, which raises between $10,000 to $20,000, will feature carnival inspired booths representing each classroom and an exciting silent auction featuring many coveted items, memberships, tickets, themed baskets, etc. Previous fairs have also included rides, laser tag, face painting, colored hairspray makeovers, hamburgers, pizza, crepes, a towering slide, rock climbing, bounce houses, bungee-trampoline bouncing, a cakewalk, and so much more!
"The money this PTA event raises funds enrichment programs for the students, teachers and parents and will include technology upgrades to help prepare our children for the rest of their lives," said Connolly.
